About the Program

The AdventHealth Orlando Cancer Institute is on a 172-acre, urban medical community, home to leading physicians, scientists, researchers and life science-companies. In keeping with its mission, the Gynecologic Oncology team at AdventHealth Orlando has continued to contribute to the care of women afflicted with cancer through multi-layered strategy which includes research, training the next generation of oncologists, contributing to the scientific literature, and serving as thought leaders in the oncologic community.

Like Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, the founder of AdventHealth Orlando, believed, physical healing by itself is not enough. He believed, as we do today, that a person's physical health is closely linked with emotional , spiritual, and mental well-being; and they sough to provide a place where each of these aspects of the whole person could find both healing and nurture.

Today, more than 105 years later, AdventHealth Orlando is committed to the same goals, providing excellent medical care through state-of-the-art service, equipment, and training incorporating our CREATION Health mission.
